you should add hight tiles to elevate the map, its just a blank tile that has a snapping peice on top, you could also add things like waterfalls

Random fortresses and ruins, magical gates and other arcane looking places, crashed vessel’s like air ships and ship wrecks, a caravan circle to swap in and out on plain areas to show roaming rest stops by traders. A dragon, or other large creature. Etc
