Y’all cats can’t make facial expressions. Him laying down and not swishing his tail and having his ears back is him being calm. He’s literally letting her touch his belly which is like the ultimate display of trust.

2 water bowls and a water fountain, wet food only (from the fridge and mixed with water into soup), two cooling pads, all churu style treats in the fridge, 2 fans (2bd apartment, not a big space) and anti uv foils on the windows, I also turn on the shower with the sprinkler mode so she can jump in and play and she does this😭

I’m not really sure my cat understands how to keep himself cool. He keeps laying in sun patches and the warmest parts of my house and throwing up from the heat 🥺

I always recommend getting those cooler bags. You know the ones meant for drinks or picnics, I got mine for £3 each. They love sleeping in them when it’s hot. This is max the first time he discovered them. This was 4 years ago now and we still do it. You can put them in the fridge, obvs cat free, just to make them extra chilly but they seem to enjoy em as they are
