@whosagoodlizard: Lewis would like everyone to know that today is hornworm day, which is basically a national holiday as far as he’s concerned. 🐛💚 For those new here, hornworms are one of Lewis’s favorite treats. They’re packed with moisture, bright green, wiggly, and impossible to ignore. The second he spots one, all thoughts, plans, and responsibilities immediately leave his tiny dinosaur brain. Fun fact: hornworms are often used as a hydrating feeder insect for reptiles because of their high water content. They’re not just exciting enrichment, they’re also a great way to add variety to a balanced diet. Needless to say, Lewis is feeling pretty grateful today.
