“She’s not high risk” okay neither was I but we were still able to find out my daughter had a genetic kidney disease we were unaware of!

Please get ultrasounds! At the bare minimum, get the anatomy scan. My anatomy scan showed that my son had Transposition of the Great Arteries. Having that diagnosis BEFORE he was born not only saved his life, but made giving birth, the NICU and CICU stays, and the heart surgery less traumatic for me because I knew what to anticipate.

Furthermore, never forget that correlation does not equal causation; basically, if there is a relation between ultrasound depth and autism spectrum disorder, it does not automatically mean that ultrasound cause autism.

How would you know she isn’t high risk?! You would have no idea if she had placental issues or growth issues without an ultrasound.

How do you know whether it’s high risk or not if you don’t get scans? There’s many things that you can’t see from just blood test and stuff
