@mgdoran: I don’t mean to confuse and I certainly try to stick with one manuscript at a time, but here’s the thing, I had planned to write Paisley’s story next (after Immersion) but two things stood in my way: 1. I felt it made most sense to complete the stories I had written in the medical fiction/prison genre before I wrote animal fiction, and 2. My dog (of whom the book is based on) ate a wild bunny (true story). However, (deep breath here), it dawned on me—after watching “The art of racing in the rain” (which I read first)—that I could combine all three genres AND I realized (it took me 2 weeks) that my dog is just being a dog. Therefore (big sigh), I have put “Forgetten Room” on the back burner and am currently revamping the 5th draft of Paisley’s book, renamed: “Unseen” Stay tuned for more on this medical-ghost-animal fiction creation! #writertok #aspiringauthor #genreblending #ghoststory #authorsoftiktok
