@mikereilly.training: Zero reps and reserve. Progressive overload. Had to get bigger, how to get stronger. Muscle mass gain. #bodybuilding #GymTok #workout #gym #muscle
Saw Sam Sulek going full reps to failure then partial reps until nothing left. Been doing this and it’s amazing.

I always have this question, when I start to fail, my form is starting to break down. do I consider that failure? Or try to push one more even if the form isn't 100% perfect? I usually take that as my sign, but don't want to leave anything on the table

What if we’re pausing a second between those last few reps? I slow down so much 😅

Coach, regarding taking some supplements, should I invest in fish oil, protein powder, and a testosterone booster? Or is creatine enough? For now, it is the only supplement I take. In terms of protein, I can hit my intake, but idk if I should still consider buying protein powder.

I don’t think this approach is talked about enough. Technique is paramount. I also agree with going for no reps left in reserve but I think it should be practiced with a partner. I’m interested in your opinion on this

What are you thoughts about half reps or a cheat rep to get past failure?

Do you prefer to finish 0 rir with lengthened partials or slower reps as a finish or nothing at all?

I'm so confused, I've been advised to leave 1+2 sets in reserve in all sets, except in isolation exercises to go to failure on my 3rd set

ive done 0 RIR for years now, if youre gonna start taking all sets to failure please keep the volume low! at least when you first start. I recommend 1-2 per set per exercise. log your reps and when you start stalling add a set here and there.
