anyone else notice that as soon as the camera switched he had the leader wrapped arounf the braid instead of braid on both sides. he tied this knot completely wrong then went back to fix it. this is not how you tie the blood knot

This should be the double Uni-Knot and it has a breaking strength of about 90%. The breaking strength can go up to almost 100% if tighten properly and when it is tied properly. The knot will never give way and the only way it fails is either the braid or leader breaks.
