my 4 year old (FOUR) told me last week that "if you cant explain something so a kid can understand it, then you dont understand it". and thats why she didnt believe me. we were talking about toys coming to life when nobody was looking because she saw it in toy story.

I had a battle with my mother. I was 3 and thought the word “kiss” was spelled KSSS. I was going to die on that hill. It’s one of my earliest memories, her melting down over my spelling, and now 40 years later I’ll rage bait her by spelling it wrong.

My 4 yo like to say “well I think it is” so she gets so learn reeeal early that theirs a difference because facts and opinions. I tell her just because that’s what she thinks doesn’t make it true 🙃
