I live with my best friend and she doesn’t like cake but she loves a Funfetti Malteser Millionaires Shortbread and I think you will too! ✨The full recipe is below x P.S caramel is based on @janespatisserie recipe that I added vanilla to! #millionaireshortbread #shortbread #maltesers #EasyRecipe #baking  Ingredients: (For the shortbread) 200g unsalted butter 100g caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla bean extract 300g plain flour 65g bake safe sprinkles (I used @GET BAKED® ) (For Jane’s caramel) 200g unsalted butter 45g caster sugar 45g golden syrup 1 tin (397g) condensed milk I added 1 tsp vanilla bean extract (To decorate) 200g white chocolate  75g dark chocolate  310g Maltesers Sprinkles Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 160c and line a 9 inch square cake tin with parchment. In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar & vanilla until smooth. Add the plain flour and sprinkles before combining and pressing into the tin. Bake for 25 minutes. 2. Once the shortbread is baked, make the caramel. Add the ingredients to a large saucepan and place over a low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Once dissolved, boil until golden and thickened, stirring constantly and ensuring the caramel doesn’t catch on the pan. Add the vanilla, pour over the shortbread and leave to cool for an hour. 3. Once cooled, melt the white chocolate and smooth over the caramel layer. Drizzle over the dark chocolate and feather this before adding sprinkles, the Malteser’s, drizzling more white chocolate and then more sprinkles. Chill until completely set.
