That is not his rule, that is the PO’s rule. Clerks only have 5mins per customer or they get talked to by supervisor. Customers have to use the kiosk.

OT is not allowed at all and we get in trouble working off the clock. The clerk is correct. If the person needs it scanned, she should have come in earlier.

I’m a clerk. We are given 3 minutes per customer. If a customer comes in with multiple packages and he is alone he is doing what his postmaster requires. Each office is different with different staffing requirements. Not saying that’s what happened here but it’s possible.
