imo the ending is only controversial because it found popularity with kids and teens. every adult in the fandom I know of (by which I mean, was at least 25 when the pilot aired) gets it.

I love the concept for Jax's character, it's a good idea, but I just feel a little cheated because it felt weird to build the story up with Pomni as the main character, then it just switches to focus almost entirely on Jax and it leaves every other character behind. I feel like if the show had more episodes to focus on each character more it would be perfect, but the way it is, it just feels like a 7/10 show.

ISTTVG is imploring the viewer to understand that there is still time. Jax is an exploration of happens when there's no time left. Leeroy however does have time and seems to be doing so much better.

best take so far but once a perosn has to explain more of the lore outside of the show it comes off as bad writing bc most people wont see all those post outside of the show itself. so what u see is what u get and from that point, the show feels so empy.... i get u i do but dam the ending was just a filler eps

i like how they're written but don't like or forgive him and i think that's okay for a complicated characher but also, i would have loved to learn more about the other character as well and it bothers me that his story took most of the show when from the star we were promised a deep crew of charachers with a lot to them. i think with all the money glitch and goosework might have made from the pilot and merch alone could have managed a few filler episodes focused on some other characters before going full on Jax.
