I’ve got a sand filter. I don’t have to do anything to mine bar add the chemicals appropriately . Absolute life saver

those bags a rubbish for grit i use a pair of tights cut ends off and use that collects sand and dirt that gets three the little bag that it comes with

I have one of these and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever bought. Had my pool up 5/6 weeks and still as clear as it was when I first filled it. Although I do put a sock over it aswell so the grime doesn’t just get picked up and filtered back into the pool.
