I mean 15 years ago I was frustrated because all the songs were telling me to put my hands up non-stop because they were designed to be club anthems. the music industry is always looking to capitalise on something.

Another trend is songs with three identical choruses. There’s no reason to escalate or change the chorus throughout a song if only a small part of the song is being played on TikTok’s.
