Yeah, if you have dark areas of skin like freckles, this will not cover them if thats what you want. You can't really build it up enough to hide much. This is basically bb cream. Tirtir mask fit is good for building and coverage, at least better than this was. Everytime I tried to layer it up, it would be like wiping it away. It could have just been my experience, but as a person that prefers the look of perfect skin with no spots in freckles or dark spots, this just didn't work well for me.
