They are absolutely the same. The one on the right: the lens have not been focused & puting it on the corner alters the view. Stick it to the middle like the other one, increase the brightness & play a video. It will be the same. Get the cheaper one 🤣 it can bluetooth to speakers & comes with a remote. It also can be screen mirrored to control from a tablet or can be connected to a laptop via hdmi. Had mine for 3yrs and its still good.

the old does too have auto focus..you have to go into the system control.. I have the old one and I can make it fit an entire wall

I have one, theres no more software updates for the apps. Would only recommend if you have a spare PC or gaming console to connect to it. a speaker is highly advised

the first one I was able to use a Roku streaming stick, the newer nicer one I get an error from the Roku streaming stick saying it doesn't support the 1080p requirements. which sucks because I really like the quality of this newer one
