@adventures.of.mommy: I was beginning to lose hope. For nearly two years, Lydia has been "stuck left." Not because she prefers that side. But because the neurological injury that caused her cerebral palsy also left her with a head position that has been incredibly difficult to overcome. We've done the therapies. The stretching. The body work. Even explored chiropractic care. And while we've made progress in so many areas, this particular challenge has remained. So when Lydia's team suggested a new approach during our latest stem cell trip, I was moved to tears. 🥹 Not because we have guarantees. Not because we're expecting miracles. But because we have another option. One that may help us avoid Botox or surgery, which I'd much rather postpone unless absolutely necessary. Will it work? We truly don't know. But after years of searching, trying, and advocating, I can honestly say that my hope has been restored. And my faith in Lydia's team has never been greater. 🩵 Sometimes hope doesn't come from having all the answers.
