@parkplacereno: Things in my son’s bedroom that just make sense 🏰🐉 When we renovated this house, we discovered a huge void behind my son’s bedroom wall after extending the roof above. We could have boarded it up and forgotten about it… but where’s the fun in that? Instead, we knocked through and created a two-level bedroom complete with a mezzanine hideaway, castle and dragon mural, slide, climbing wall and all the little details that make life easier. The double bed means we won’t need to replace it as he grows, the boxed-in pipework became the perfect shelf for @tonies_uk, and his grow clock, nightlight and projector help make bedtime a little smoother. Downstairs, we built the wardrobes, bookshelves and window seat ourselves using @ikeauk units. It took weeks, tested our patience more than once, but the amount of storage we’ve gained is incredible. Every wardrobe has hanging space and drawers, the bookshelves are packed with his favourite stories, and the cordless motorised @smartwingshome blinds are one of the best child-friendly additions we made. It’s fun, practical, packed with storage and completely unique to him.
