@parkplacereno: Things in my kids’ bathroom that just make sense ✨ This bathroom had one job: be beautiful, practical, and survive two children. My favourite feature? The laundry chute. It drops dirty clothes straight from the bathroom into the utility room below and somehow turns putting washing away into a game. We also lifted the ceiling to create enough head height for a proper shower over the bath. Future teenage-proofing: achieved. ✔️ The illuminated mirror has become one of the most useful things in the room. The kids can switch it on at night without turning on the main lights or noisy extractor fan, and it gives off just enough glow for midnight bathroom trips. I also splashed out on underfloor heating in here. With kids constantly splashing water everywhere, the floor dries much quicker and always feels warm underfoot. And finally… coloured towels. Such a simple hack, but everyone knows which towel is theirs and it avoids so many unnecessary arguments. What would be your non-negotiable in a family bathroom? 👇 Construction: @r.d.g.construction Decoration: @cheltenhampaintingdecorating Tiles: @Mandarin Stone Sanitary ware: @Drench #familybathroom #kidsbathroom #bathroomdesign #homerenovationuk #interiordesignuk kids bathroom ideas, family bathroom, laundry chute, utility room ideas, bathroom storage, family home renovation, period home renovation, underfloor heating, illuminated mirror, shower over bath, practical home ideas, children’s bathroom, bathroom inspiration, bathroom makeover, Mandarin Stone, Drench, home interiors UK, clever storage ideas, functional design, Cotswolds home, The Park Place Project
