It’s a bread plate from the 80’s. Every bride I know from that era got one at their shower. And all the patina you scrubbed off was supposed to be there. They were labeled hand wash only.

It is armatel….by Wilton….not silver, not pewter. They are very easily found in thrift stores. They are used for serving… not intended to cook in.

I use it to thaw ground beef. It will thaw a pound in about three hours. That’s what it’s really made for.
