@ryanwang.art: POV: When a 19th-century Ukiyo-e painting comes to life in 2026. Time fades, but the art remains. Bringing classical heritage alive to the haunting, powerful rhythms of Yoshitsune and the Thousand Cherry Trees. This look is an homage to the timeless beauty of traditional Geisha artistry—captured through the precision of the porcelain skin, dramatic crimson eyes, and sculpted hair. Watch until the end to see the butterfly shed her wings and step back into the modern world. (The transition at 00:17 is my favorite layer of the story!) #geisha #geishamakeup #traditionaljapanese #kabuki #yoshitsuneandthethousandcherrytrees
I love this culture and the depictions of it in art. The beauty of it is unmatched . I love reconstructing pieces and or trying to attempt to do a re- creation of time in photography and or still art pieces. So beautiful .

Heidi :
Thank you for this, don’t ever let this culture ever be nonexistent, seems like things are trying to be erased from history . I’m not Asian but love , love the culture and spirituality
