I feel like you probably had an authentic experience because you had a guide - you were able to actually take in the experience instead of potentially being on edge or alert because you were having to spend too much mental energy on just getting from point a to b.

I loved India did it all ourselves and the logistics was hectic ๐ def not missing with a planned trip but often if your on your own you meet people and Homestays for the behind the scenes activities which is amazing
