I had a class of 19 girls and 5 boys. It was not perfect but it was the most emotionally regulated and socially healthy class of kindergartens I had since.

3 schools in 3 countries and every class I was in was 2/3 boys, 1/3 girls, I had 2 brothers, (no sisters) and at the time 4 male cousins (no female cousins). It just felt so unfair 😂

I’ve mainly taught girl heavy classes! Last year was the first year where it was boy heavy but the girls were the strong characters

Honestly this year was the strangest year, boy heavy class and the girls were the constant fighting and out of control behaviours🤷♀️the boys cleaned up were super respectful and caring so you never know

boys are just overpopulating. this is a common thing everywhere in north America. cant escape boy heavy classes cause everyone's having boys

I had a boy heavy homeroom and it was a blast (at times)! Just had to be extra strict on the discipline and expectations were non negotiable from day 1 minute 1. Taught them how to go from joke time to serious time quickly during the day. My 1st graders fell right in line 🥰. Miss them!
