In his defense, they were called the Schuyler sisters because they were the oldest 3 and closest in age. The age gap from Peggy to John (the 4th eldest) was 7 years. The youngest sibling wasn't even born when Elizabeth married Alexander at the age of 23.

there were 15 children but only 8 survived passed infancy. the 3 sisters in Hamilton were the eldest surviving children. John was 7 years younger then Peggy, phillp 10 years younger and ren was 15 years.
