Were you working in Korea? Cause if it was travelling, you are describing a bubble that is not a real life. I loved relaxing in Seoul too, but work life there makes you realize that you can feel disconnected and overwhelmed just as in every other country. We love running away from everyday life and thats why it always feels less stressful when we get a break.

this happen to me during my first visit and i feel like i need to be back there for closure but hey guess what i keep flying back to seoul whenever i feel like i need a break. 5th time within 1.5yrs hahaha idky but somehow being there feel so peaceful for awhile

I’m with you! It’s been 4 days since I returned from a 3-week holiday❤️❤️❤️I walked at least 28 km every day and got back to my hotel at midnight each night. It was the best trip ever💜💜💜

I feel this so deeply. Since coming back, I’ve felt so lost. I keep thinking about going back to Seoul, finding a job there, leaving everything behind and running back to the place that felt therapeutic — the place that helped me heal and recover from the worst year of my life. Now I honestly don’t know what to do. I just feel lost.

Oh, this happened to me the first time I came 3 years ago, I cried so much at the airport and now is my second time visiting. I feel the same, but I am more calm now, I know I will comeback very soon.

I just got back today and I’m already missing 🇰🇷so much and my late night walks and the food omg the food 😭Also I noticed while being there for some time how isolating it can be if you don’t make friends there if you solo travel

I feel the same. As much as I love Japan, I always feel like I’m just visiting, even when I try to be like a local. But Korea has always felt like home to me. It’s hard to explain, but it feels like a piece of me was there long before I ever visited.

it’s not that bcuz im kpop fan that make me love korea but if ykyk it’s like korea has something special that stole my heart the first time i got there. i love everything about korea, the weather, environment, foods, culture and some kind people who are so welcoming. i pray to go back there again everyday. i wish i could visit korea every month😭😭😭😭
