Hot take but if I feel like had it not been for Harry’s insane face card, Jace as a character wouldn’t have become this popular among fans, since they took away pretty much all his achievements and charming personality in the show.

Ngl. The episode was a banger. BUT - Yes. Its VERY unfortunate they choose this path. Because this pretty much destroys his real character arc. Dying protecting his siblings vs. dying because he was undermined and trying to prove his worth, are very different stories.

I already decided not to read the book because that's what I do when a book turned to movie to avoid disappointments. But the book seems more interesting. Reading from some explanations here, even if I haven't read the book, it's frustrating how they changed a loooot. I really love the actors, tho. So annoying how the series could've been better.

hate to break it to you, Jace is about as smart as ned stark. incredibly honorable and great as human? absolutely. Smart and knows when to fight and when to not? not at all.
