I am a DA survivor. The “I’ve booked a surprise for you” there is no surprise, it’s just a lie to control you and make you feel guilty. “I’m going back to my ex” scare tactics. And let’s not forget the constant insults, slowly chipping away at you. If you decide to go, he will guilt trip you, stalk you and harass you while you are out and then play mental games when you’re back. I’ve lived it and it’s soul crushing.
