As someone who needs glasses all the time since I was 12, I have no idea why anyone would WANT glasses. Feels like when people would pretend to need crutches. Not being able to see properly is a form of disability, why are we trying to cosplay that?

As a disabled person who wears glasses- its not at all like using a cane or crutches when you don't need one. glasses have been worn as fashion for a long time and I see no issue with it

I have a -10 prescription and literally can't function without glases/contacts so I think I'm qualified to speak on this lol. I think it's a little silly and I can always tell when someone is wearing fake glasses, but I really don't care nor does it offend me. Some people really do look good with glasses (Adam Driver in House of Gucci for example).
