It’s just so weird cause the writers are changing things from the books which some aren’t necessarily that bad like in season 1. But at the same time they are trying to hit plot points from the books. This was the exact same thing that happened in GOT. ATP just do your own story

what's crazy to me is the boys aren't even mentioned. it's been two years. I have seen so many show-only fans online freaking out, thinking all of Rhaenyra's kids are dead. they could have at least had SOMEONE mention they had made it past the blockade on the way to Pentos or something. literally anything is better than omitting them entirely.

Not having them there took so much away from the scene. Made it about Jace being hungry for glory rather than trying to save his little brother. The way they’re excluding the younger boys from the story is crazy bc we really are gonna get to the end and have a lot of show only fans say “hang on now who’s this little boy on the throne now??”
