I love this kind of internet. It’s nice learning something knew, having questions answered that I might wonder about if I saw someone with an amputation in public, but would feel rude and nosy asking, and the fact that this may be extremely comforting for someone about to go through this. ❤️

Did you purchase the ottobock prostheses yourself or through insurance? Curious b/c insurance doesn’t like to provide the more advanced prostheses even though they are better for amputees

Talk about being vulnerable, while having the most positive vibe ever! My question, which I'm sure you've probably been asked countless times, is whether or not "they're" working on some sort of technology, where they'll be able to implant a receiver of some sort into your lower hip, so that you can attach your prosthetics to that, rather than to have to rely on strapping it/them around your waist? I'm picturing a dental implant, but on a grander scale 🙂.
