@moeandsash: sorry fifa fan fest miami, you were not it! our honest review ⤵️ first things first, it may be a free event, but be prepared to pay $60+ for parking downtown. food and drinks were more expensive than what we’d expect at a stadium, and bottled water was around $12 (you also can’t bring your own inside!) the miami heat is no joke in summer. when we visited on 6/19, it was 92° at 3pm. there was very little shade, so be prepared to sweat, sit on scorching hot plastic seats, and fight for any small patch of cover. the “cooling zones” were mostly crowds gathered around fans blowing hot air, which wasn’t much relief at all. the brand activations were cool, but the lines were longgg…we heard people were waiting 2-3 hours just for the free fifa bracelets. overall, it felt overhyped and not designed with the summer heat in mind. unless you’re attending a match after sunset, we’d honestly recommend finding a watch party at a local restaurant or somewhere like hard rock cafe where you’ll still get the fifa atmosphere without feeling like you’re melting. we spent our time there walking from area to area trying to find shade, a screen that wasn’t blocked, and reasonably priced drinks with no luck. thankfully, we made a quick pivot and ended up watching two back to back matches from comfortable seats with water views of the bay, our own TV, a server, better food and drinks, fans we could cheer with and much better vibes overall. did anyone else feel the same way about the fifa fan fest in miami?! #fifafanfest #miami #bayfrontpark #fanfest #fifa2026
