Can the court not be given documentation of your illness and that your testimony may not be helpful/reliable??

Talk to victim services to see if they know anything about recording your statement. Or actually, reach out to whoever sent the subpoena (prosecutor) and let them know what your medical situation is. They may want a video recording of your statement in case something happens between now and then because even if you’re still hanging with us your mind may not be hanging as well and we don’t need them to deem your testimony inadmissible by questioning your mental capacity. Video testimony can be admitted to court when it falls under certain exceptions. I once watched a trial that showed the recorded testimony of a man that had passed from cancer before he could go on the stand.
