Empath here.. First of all your father is incredibly proud of you and the career path you have taken. He hasn’t come to you because he is afraid you are upset with him because of how he left this earth. He adores Ana and is proud of the way you have taken care of your grandma and mother. He does interact with your pets. They are used to him being around. He watches over you. You need to sit down in a quiet place and have a conversation with him telling him you forgive him, tell him the baseball story you told us and that his memory has followed you through out your life. Oh and he misses you too!

My dad also decided to leave us in 1981. My mom lived until 1998, and at Christmas they woke me up sitting at the end of the bed and were smiling. Had not felt my dad since his passing until then. I think my mother went and got him fro wherever he was and decided to show me they where fine. It’s almost like a dream, but you know it’s not.

I have heard for what ever the reason, spirit has a hard time making the connection with love ones. the game may have been the place his spirit was the strongest. and he was able to make that connection. Just know that you had a meaningful connection with him in his own way he wanted no question about his love for you. Also I love your content. Your an inspiration

Thanks fir sharing your story Joanna. I lost my dad tragically 7 years on Thanksgiving weekend. At the time he passed I was in Toronto that week, the day before coming back home I decided to go to the neighborhood I grew up in and walk around. Which was weird that I went there for a walk, a friend of mine told me that my dad spirit was with me to take the last walk together. When you mentioned that you were at a Jays game and your dad came to see you. It brought back memories of my dad and I going to Jays games together, especially the first game at Exhibition Stadium. We also went to Leafs games at Maple Leaf Gardens, after he passed I went to a Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena I started to cry before the game because it brought back memories of father and son time together.
