Alhamdulillah__ :
One of the BEST ahadith of the Messenger pbuh is when he said "who should I seek as a judge other than Allah when He is the One who revealed to you the Book detailed". This hadith is in [6:114] of the Quran, & yes it is a hadith of the Messenger, cause Allah SWT says in [69:40] that the Quran is the speech of the noble Messenger. Since the Quran is the Messenger's speech & obeying his speech is obeying him, then accepting the Quran is the fundamental way to "obey the Messenger" which is how one would obey Allah SWT [4:80].
-
In [6:114] the Messenger is saying that Allah SWT's rulings for today are all clear in the Quran, this is confirmed by [16:89] where Allah SWT tells the Prophet pbuh "We sent down to you the Book as a clarification for all things". The Quran is a Book of guidance [2:2] so [16:89] is saying all guidance, including all necessary rulings to attain Jannah (in'shaa'Allah) are clear in the Quran, & that the Quran has no partner in clarifying rulings.
-
What is noteworthy is the fact that the Quran makes zero conclusive mention directly/indirectly of extra-Quranic divine rulings. If this concept is so fundamental yet not even mentioned once in the Quran, is it even part of Islam? The Quran forbids anyone from making halal/haram rulings [16:116, 42:21, 2:213, 7:203], & commands ppl not to follow unverified info [17:36, 10:36, 9:31, 33:67]. To assume verses like [16:44] allow for extra Quranic rulings is false, [38:1] says that Al-Dhikr in [16:44] is in the Quran so [16:44] would read "We sent down to you Al-Dhikr [in the Quran] to make clear to the people [the Book] that was sent down to them".

What does this mean? This means that the claim that a hadith is mandatory for Jannah is false making the hadith false/misunderstood. The Quran, needing no chain to prove it's preservation, was sent for guidance & is capable on it's own of doing so. Can the sunnah/tafsir provide value tho? Yes they can however one would be wrong to assume all sahih-labeled hadith are true, & should judge hadith individually thru the Quran [25:1]. "These are Allah's ayat We recite to you in truth, so in what hadith after Allah & His ayat will they believe" [45:6]. Salaam!
