Also important for Sunnis to know according to the majority Sunni historical narration, the fast of Ashura was observed before Ramadan fasting became obligatory, and then its legal status changed after Ramadan was prescribed.

Fasting to celebrate a Judaic celebration? What next fasting for Christmas and Hannukah and Buddhist and Hindu celebrations too? Since when did wahhabis become pluralist?

Jews are still here. If the 10th of Muharram was a special day commemorating the victory of Prophet Moses (AS), what is the name of that day in Judaism?
A simple check of the calendar for 631 AD shows that the first ten days of Muharram do not coincide with any Jewish holy day, and Judaism has no special fast associated with Muharram.
If this was truly a major Jewish observance, why do the people who inherited and preserved the Mosaic tradition not celebrate it today?

imagine the prophet needed help from the Jews to know about the relation to Allah.

The Jews don't fast on Ashura. Please, ask a Rabbi. Bring evidence from the Jews that they celebrate, or fast, for the saving of Moses from Pharaoh!
