Not everything we carry started with us. Over the last few years, I’ve realized that many of the fears, patterns, tensions, and survival responses I was trying to fix weren’t actually mine. They had been carried through generations. And now, holding my son Theo in my arms, I see things differently. More than success. More than money. More than achievements. What I want to pass on is peace. A regulated nervous system. A present father. A man who trusts God more than he trusts fear. Healing isn’t about blaming our parents or the generations before us. They carried what they knew how to carry. It’s about becoming conscious enough to finally put the stone down. Because the greatest gift we can give our children is not what we leave for them. It’s what we no longer leave on them. This is why I do this work every day. Through movement, breath, fascia release, prayer, and learning to let go of what was never mine to carry. It ends with me.
