@ashkayv: 🍜 Pakistani-Style Chicken Chow Mein 🇵🇰🔥 After plenty of trial and error, this is the closest I’ve come to the chow mein I grew up eating back home. 🍗 Chicken fillets marinated overnight with Chicken Fry Mix and Nando’s Hot Peri-Peri Sauce. 🥬 Vegetables: • Purple cabbage (julienne) • Carrot (julienne) • Spring onions 🥣 Sauce: • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp oyster sauce • 1 tbsp chilli sauce • 1 tbsp Knorr Aromat seasoning sauce • ½ packet Blue Dragon Chow Mein Stir Fry Sauce • 1 tsp Knorr Chilli Aromat seasoning • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or sesame oil if you have it) • 1 tsp sesame seeds • ½ tsp garlic granules • ½ tsp paprika Method: 🔥 Fry the chicken first until fully cooked and set aside. 🍜 Add Tesco ready-to-wok egg noodles to a hot pan with 2 tbsp oil and stir-fry on HIGH heat. 🥣 Add the sauce and mix well. 🥬 Add the vegetables and chicken back in and keep tossing everything on HIGH heat for around 5 minutes. ⚠️ Don’t lower the heat! High heat keeps the vegetables crunchy, prevents them from going soggy and gives that authentic takeaway-style texture. The result?
