@phlmyplate: We are back trying the best hoagies in and around Philly. We were inspired by lists from @phillymag & @infatuation and all of your recommendation's- and wanted to find our favorite. Is it one of the places we have tried before, or will a new hoagie take the crown 🤔 Part 5: @antoniositalianspecialties 📍 1138 W. Ritner Street We can't believe it took us so long to get here when this is also about a five minute walk from our house. What caught our eye with this spot is their cutlet sandwiches, but we wanted to see what they were working with when it comes to hoagies. These hoagies are PACKED & we loved that they sauce them up a bit so you get that pepper relish or long hot mayo in each bite. We tried the Spicy Italian with Prosciutto, hot soppresatta, hot cappicola, sharp provolone, hot pepper relish, we also added the long hot mayo. And then we tried the Tacchino Arrabbiata with turkey breast, hot pepper cheese, hot pepper relish & we ran back that long hot mayo. The bread was excellent and each bite had the perfect amount of heat. These sandwiches definitely offer the best bang for your buck.
