@hoosiercarguy: Bought this 2011 Subaru Forester at the auto auction knowing there was a good chance the head gaskets were blown. The selling dealer was a new car franchise store, and from my experience working at one, I knew this was the kind of vehicle they’d usually retail if it was clean. Once it arrived, we confirmed the head gasket issue, filed the claim, and got the auction to stand behind it. Now I’ve got a clean Forester with one of the biggest maintenance items already taken care of. Did I make out like a bandit or take a gamble? 👀 #subaruforester #AutoAuction #UsedCars #CarDealerLife #CarTok
Learned something new today. Dis not k ow about arbitration . Glad they have it. Worked out for you and nice that you are fixing it for the next owner.

I did this for a while! Great cars and they can be quick to replace the head gaskets if you’re good. You can reasonably buy complete kits with timing belt, water pump, thermostat and all the needed gaskets! Look for DNJ
