Before anyone says “paperbacks always come out later,” that misses the point. Yes, that’s standard for normal releases. But this isn’t a normal release. This is a series fans have been waiting years for, with multiple editions and full sets already sold over time (coughs night court editions). Releasing the paperback on day one wouldn’t be complicated…(and it’s actually RIDICULOUS if you don’t think they can do that) it would just be a clear nod to the readers who have been here the entire time, collecting the existing set and waiting for this book. Instead, we’re getting only a new hardcover and new matching hardcover sets, a slap in the face, which pushes rebuys instead of acknowledging the format most fans actually own. At this point, it’s awful, and I’d rather not get a physical book ✨

Don’t forget, I’m sure they’ll also make 5 different store-specific editions of ACOTAR 6 with unique bonus chapters like they did for CC3. They make the money grabbing so blatant!
