I’ve been a diabetic for 21 years and trained by medical professionals on using insulin (which is a peptide) - I called the shaking being misinformed a long time ago… I was always told to roll my insulin, not because it can be destructive to the insulin, but because rolling vs.shaking reduces the champagne bubbles which makes dosing more accurate and you don’t have to fight bubbles when dosing. Shaking being destructive just intuitively never made sense… think about the amount of pressure put on the pep when it’s sucked through a hole at the tip of a needle… the force of the fluid going through a space that small would be WAY more destructive than any amount of shaking in a vial.
