I got insurance when my dog was young. Now that he’s older and will likely need it, they raised his premium first to $250 at 11 and then to $500 at 12. This should be illegal.

Pet insurance is great, my golden was recently DX w/ Golden Retriever Pigmentary Uveitis (GRPU), and her plan only covers $400 per year for the DX - the eye specialist in NY ( who is AMAZING) for 1st appointment was way more than that. He is worth it, the insurance is so unrealistic 🤦🏼♀️

This is so true about the zip codes! I moved literally 5 mins away and when I told my insurance (for my pup) of my new address, the zip was different and the premium went up $6/mo. For literally being five minutes away
