I BAWLED my eyes out a few birthdays ago because my dad and brother consumed almost all of my homemade birthday cinnamon rolls my moms bestie made for me and they called me dramatic. You ate my 1 birthday wish. It is serious.

I feel I can’t compare to some peoples experiences in the comments, though I wanted to share. My brother is much younger than me, he isn’t even in puberty yet (as that can be the cause of a big appetite) and he eats EVERYTHING and has NO consideration for who’s it is, he eats my food all the time, and I’m a picky eater so I obviously have foods I do and do not eat. Every time we get food for me he eats it without asking or even considering it’s not for him, and he is definitely not picky, he will eat everything. I have to keep my food in our room ( we share a room, I’m 17) just so he won’t eat it since I’m in the room and he knows better than to steal in front of my face, and then my mom turns around and gets mad at me when I don’t share or I binge eat my food in one sitting, when it’s because I never have my safe foods to eat because nobody cares and just eats it

I get told that I’m just being ridiculous and greedy, that there is enough food, but it isn’t about the food or quantity, it’s about the fact that I wanted something and immediately after it’s bought my brother eats it all without asking while my parents support him and say i should have explicitly said that they were from me, but when I do that I get told that I shouldn’t be so food greedy, that i’m just being silly

I have a really severe food allergy and my parents will buy snacks for me to eat and he eats ALL OF THEM and then gets mad and says “well it’s not just for you” YES IT IS, YOU CAN HAVE EVERYTHING IN THE KITCHEN AND THIS WAS BOUGHT SPECIFICALLY SO I COULD EAT IT
