Yes, but I used to live in Chicago and you can only enjoy being outside there for three months of the year. Getting groceries, pumping gas, going to the gym when it’s -10° and windy AF? I’ll melt for a couple of months and hang out indoors or at the pool instead of ever doing that again.

I left Houston for work and moved to Chicago. Trust me I’d do anything to sub out Houston’s summers for Chicago’s winters. Also, idk about you but in the summer I want it to be hot bc I want to get in the pool all summer long and nothing is more enjoyable then jumping in a pool in Houston / Arizona summers

I live on a Ranch in between Houston and College station . You do get used to it after a while . Minimal makeup, a wave in your hair and you get used to the heat the more time you spend outside . I honestly live for summer .

Moved here from NY and don’t think the summer is that bad. Just went for a walk in fact. It’s hot for sure but I prefer it over 6-7 months of freezing cold and rain and snow. Would I prefer Southern California sure but I don’t have $10M for a home so Houston it is 🤷♀️

As I write this it us 102 degrees in New Jersey...😕. Ugh, can't wait for the fresh air of fall to come and yes, even the winter isn't bad. I could never live in the south.
