I’ve found my synthetics keep getting that mildew smell. Tried everything, can’t seem to figure it out. Thoughts?

I just binged watched many of your vids, love them btw. But I could not find where you mentioned your favorite laundry detergent. I did see you approved of Tide, Persil, and Ariel. I was just wanting to know your go to everyday detergent. Is it Tide? My bf swears by Tide, I like it as well. I'm just having a hard time getting his work stains out of his uniform. He's a truck driver and assembles cranes so there's grease, dirt, sweat, and what I think is salt stains from sweating. Any advice would be much appreciated. Also, what is your stance on washing and drying shoes and slippers? He thinks it's too hard on the appliances. Omg, sorry, I'll stop asking so many questions. I just found you so maybe I have some catching up to do! 😂🧺✨

Can we put vinegar in with the detergent at the beginning and let the clothes soak for a little while to help with smelly athletic clothes?

every time you explain what a surfactant is, I think about the Magic school bus episode where she explains how soap works " 🎶🎵you need water and soap to lift the dirt away🎵🎶"

I have a top load, no agitator HE machine. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I’m never convinced stuff is clean. I have a toddler and 7 year old - so much dirt. What kind of detergent should I use? Powder? Liquid? Tide free and clear is what I have now but I don’t know if it’s doing the job 😳😅

Vinegar in the fabric softener compartment is the best!! But geez why would you pour it directly on the clothes 😳

Hi I just found you so I haven’t been to laundry school yet. I have a he washer and am trying to save as much money as possible but I also want clean clothes. My husband is blue collar And comes home with pants covered in dried mud. Would Ariel with borax work well?

Fort note is not a good game. :
Well hold on. Water does half the washing. Then we add detergent. Ok. But then we use oxiclean or borax as well. Then maybe scent beads or downy or vinegar ,, what are we doing ?!

Husband brings home sweaty, dirt, grease/oil ridden clothes/sheets/towels from his trucking job. I’ve recently become very sensitive thanks to a medication to the smell of detergents and fabric softener (the smells make me vomit). I switched to the clear/free versions, but his clothes still are stinky. At a loss on how to get his laundry done without going back to the perfumed versions.
