@theactualansley: Peach Matcha Float Welcome back to Dessert on the Dock, a series where I’m sharing my favorite refreshing treats to enjoy all summer long. This Peach Matcha Float is made with @Jade Leaf Matcha Teahouse Edition Organic Ceremonial Matcha, and the quality of my matcha is so important to me. This one is Japanese ceremonial grade, which means it has a smooth flavor, beautiful vibrant green color, and no bitterness. The sweet peach pairs perfectly with the earthy matcha, creating the most refreshing summer treat. It’s also a great recipe if you’re new to matcha and looking for a fun way to enjoy it. I can’t get over how pretty this drink is, and I hope you’ll give it a try! Recipe below or on my Substack (link in bio- click “full recipes”) 💚 Makes 2 servings Ingredients: For the Peach Purée: 2 ripe peaches, peeled and diced 2 teaspoons honey Pinch of fine sea salt For the Peach Milk: 2 ripe peaches, peeled and diced 1 ½ cups whole milk 1-2 tablespoons honey, depending on desired sweetness ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract Pinch of fine sea salt For the Matcha: 2 teaspoons (4g) Jade Leaf Teahouse Edition Matcha 4 oz hot water, about 160°F 2 teaspoons honey For Assembly: 4 scoops peach ice cream Instructions: Start by making the peach puree by adding all ingredients to a small saucepan and cooking over medium-low heat until the peaches have broken down and become jammy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and blend into a smooth puree. I use my immersion blender. Refrigerate until cold. This is great to make ahead of time. To make the peach milk, blend all ingredients until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and refrigerate until ready to use. To make the matcha, sift matcha into a bowl. Pour over hot water, then use a bamboo matcha whisk or electric frother to whisk for about 30 seconds, until a light foam forms on top. Add honey and whisk to combine. To assemble, spoon the peach puree around the inside of each glass. Add 2 scoops of peach ice cream per glass. Pour peach milk into each glass until about ¾ full. Slowly pour matcha over the ice cream to create distinct layers. Garnish with a fresh peach slice, if desired, and serve immediately. #Ad #matcha #jadeleaf
