My interpretation was, that was the first time in a while the the real had more control because “wish Nikki” could idk “settle” because bear was no longer there and she didn’t need to put on a show. Because like we don’t really see “wish Nikki” actually eating or going to the bathroom only sleeping so when she lets go a little the body had to relive its self.

I did grow up hearing that but I took it like a manifestation of the wish in its purest form: she loved Bear more than anyone else in the world—including herself. So she didn’t even care to take care of her needs.
