@rustic_peacock: I just chased my chickens out of the garden and apparently they were EXTRA clean today... because the dust cloud that exploded off them looked like a small weather event. 🌪️🐔 If you've never seen a chicken dust bath, it looks completely backwards. They dig, flop, toss dirt into their feathers, and somehow end up cleaner than when they started. Dust bathing helps chickens absorb excess oils, keeps feathers in good condition, and can help discourage external pests. It's basically their version of a spa day... if the spa specialized in launching dirt into neighboring zip codes.
