people asking about how they knew the beaverton and WV clues: the WV clue you can get from the fluff of the clue: “take me home county roads”, and the oregon one can be figured out from a city name of beaverton, which would be unique to oregon, as they are known to have lots of beavers. a lot of jeopardy answers are set up like that. if you’re able to figure out one step of the answer, you can figure out the question with simple deduction (or potentially a guess)

Wait, this is the most “What the hell is water?” I’ve felt on a Jeopardy answer. Are fractional roads unique to West Virginia? I live here, and I’m so used to seeing those signs everywhere that I somehow got the question wrong.
