Sorry but I wouldn’t of moved that child, unless he had a LEGAL document stating that the plot was his he had no rights to it, verbal communication AFTER the burial took place is not grounds to exhume a body out of a plot just because he decided that was his plot after his nephew was buried…

This happened with my grandmother. My grandma died, was buried, and then over 2 years later my mom got a text from her cousin saying we put my grandma in her spot. And technically we did because the cemetery sold the same plot twice 🥲

My sister's husband had to be dug up and moved because the cemetery buried him in the wrong plot I think it was 3 years later

My husband’s grandfather was buried in the wrong plot…one over from where he should have been. A week later, a gentleman died and was supposed to be buried in that plot! They had to tunnel over and slide Grandpa D into his proper place! Grandma was so upset!

My maternal grandma's sister died on Christmas Day in 2003. She was buried on the wrong side of the cemetery. The crazy thing was, a paternal uncle was the grave digger, and he knew where Aunt Mary Jane was supposed to be buried. Nothing was changed, but she does have two plots in one cemetery. Another crazy thing about her is that she has another plot in a completely different cemetery! Three plots, one person, no two plots next to each other! Maybe I'll take one, lol!
