My 8 year old still plays with the fisher price toys and Barbie! If I raised to boys who are 27 & 23 without an iPad (which didn’t exist anyway) she will not too!🤣

The amount of iPads I see in restaurants actually depresses me. My kid doesn’t even know how to turn the volume up on ours which makes me proud 😭😂😂

Unpopular opinion: Its okay to have limited screen time for them. We are a technology based society. Everything we do is tied to it - shopping, ordering, school, TikTok, etc. Withholding all technology will put them behind. Its called balance.

i had an ipad when i was younger but then my mom got me and my sister ipods growing up. but i still had my toys and choose my toys more then my ipod.

My mom only gave us “ipads” for long car rides and we missed out on so much because all of our friends had been able to play games n such in devices whenever n we weren’t💔

My son is 4. The amazed looks we get when we go out because we don’t have an iPad is crazy. Like that should be the norm, not a rarity

We always have a bag packed of magnatiles, coloring books, markers, etc. in case we ever end up at a restaurant or somewhere we need our little one occupied. I will say that sometimes I WISH we could give her an iPad, but it pays off so much more that we are consistent and don’t! 🤍
